How To Become Involved In OCO

Oakland Community Organizations welcome all races, genders, and denominations to OCO. We are a federation of community members just like you, and welcome all that want to become involved in OCO.

The best way to become involved as a leader in OCO is through the local church or school in your neighborhood. Click here to see churches and schools participating in OCO. If your church or school is not a member of OCO at this time, and would like to become a member, we welcome you to call, write or e-mail the OCO office to obtain more information regarding membership.

The best way to keep informed of all upcoming OCO events is to check our news page on this website.

You can support the work of OCO in a number of ways; financial contributions are welcome, tax deductible and recognized in our newsletters and our website. If you want to volunteer your time on research projects, or work with programs in participating church or schools please contact us about your field of interest.

If you would like to be added to our mailing list or find out other ways to get involved, please call 510-639-1444 or e-mail us for more information.
